5th Annual Strategies for Educating Children with Down Syndrome Conference
The Brighterside of Down Syndrome is holding our 5th Annual Strategies for Educating Children with Down Syndrome Conference on November 18th, 2019 at the Robert Cabral Agricultural Center in Stockton.
This year Natalie Hale, award winning author, innovative educator and parent to an adult son with Down syndrome, will speak to parents and teachers on the topic of teaching reading to learners with Down syndrome, autism and other developmental delays. This conference is a great opportunity to invite your child’s teacher to receive practical tools that can be implemented the very next day to help children succeed in both SPED and general education class rooms.
Catered lunch, materials and attendee gift will be included in the cost of the course.
We are excited to offer .5 continuing education credits to professionals attending this course. For more information go to our website at www.tbods.org/annual-conference
