Join us for the Buddy Walk on Saturday October 12th, 2024 at Micke Grove Park in Lodi, CA.
Our Buddy Walk this year will be a FREE event for your family and friends! We encourage you to invite everyone to celebrate your loved one with Down syndrome as we take over Micke Grove Park with music, dancing, games, face painting, food trucks and more!
As this is a free event, there will not be a t-shirt or lunch provided on the day of. There will be plenty of food truck options and families of those with Down syndrome will be given an allotted amount of tickets to purchase food from our vendors. If you do not wish to purchase food, we encourage you to bring your own food and beverages. Alcohol is not permitted.
Many families choose to create their own t-shirts with photos on them or special slogans and that is what we would encourage you to do this year as well! Some families simply encourage everyone to wear the same color or wear previous Buddy Walk shirts and that is a great idea too! The possibilities are endless with group costumes! This year there will even be a prize for the most creative costume so have fun with it!!

There will be opportunities to give a tax deductible donation to TBODS on the day of the event via credit card, paypal, venmo, cash and check!
IF YOU ARE THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF AN INDIVIDUAL WITH DOWN SYNDROME OR HAVE DOWN SYNDROME, PLEASE EMAIL INFO@TBODS.ORG TO LET US KNOW YOU ARE COMING. WE HAVE ORDERED MEDALS FOR EACH PARTICIPANT WHO HAS REGISTERED BEFORE 10/1 BUT ARE HOPEFUL WE WILL HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH!
